Cuarenta y Dos: Freedom  
A lot of things have been going down lately. I've been thinking about the past, and Hueco Mundo and Las Noches, and about the City too. There's this one thought I have...maybe not a happy thought, but a good one, one that makes me not notice the ticking sound even when I'm all alone.

I think the arrancar will be free again one day.



Hmmm...well, I guess that's all. Don't think I'm being all mopey and serious with this, because I'm not. It's a good thought, you know? I just wanted to share.

The arrancar here don't really matter much to me, or to anyone, since I think most of those ones are already dead. Not much use to anyone outside of the City, are they? The living have to worry themselves with the living, don't they?

[ooc:Sorry for all these edits! Just want to make everything totally clear. Szayel and Cirucci he saw go down, Yachiru told him that Nnoitra was killed by Kenpachi, and on a number of occasions Ichigo has responded to Grimmjow with "I already beat you", which Pesche takes to mean that he killed him. He also heard about Rukia killing Aaronioro, but he never found out he was here. So, in his mind, that constitutes "most of" the other arrancar.]

You know Aizen-dono, when you say things like that it almost makes me think I'm talking to someone for whom the concept of personal honor has any meaning.
