Nel-sama was always such a good speaker. When one arrancar speaks to another, the two most common comebacks are, "Wanna fight about it?" and "I could beat you up if I wanted". But not with her. If someone told her off for whatever reason, she'd always have the perfect response. And it was never mean or crude, but just perfectly thought out. But that was a long time ago.

I wonder what I'll say to her when I see her in her adult form again. It's inevitable that I will...

Lately, it seems like the ticking is louder than before, but I'm not more or less alone than I've been in weeks.

I was wondering if maybe you'd like to train with me a bit? I know I don't look like much, but I have a zanpakutou and can use pretty much any standard arrancar ability. Of course, I might not be the strongest person you could train with, but based on the nature of your power it might benefit you more to train against me than it would with someone stronger.

Except for the minarets and the daylight, this reminds me a lot of Hueco Mundo. Not nearly as sad though.

I guess Uryuu is gone now. All I have to remember him by is Szayel-Aporro's doll. And the doll gets old pretty quick.

Just so you know, it's a bad idea to be outside during the night in the desert. You wouldn't believe how cold it gets.

Look who's come for a visit!

It's my pet, Bawabawa! I don't know what he's doing out of Hueco Mundo (or Dondochakka's stomach for the matter) but it's so good to see him! I think I'll take him for a walk today, so consider the stand closed.

[ooc: Hollows in general are probably the closest thing to a national "animal" of Hueco Mundo, so Bawabawa fits the bill. Pesche will be riding him around the City all day long, oblivious to the fact that Bawabawa might be a little frightening to most people. Also, the picture is not IC]

Does anyone out there know how to make sushi? I am considering opening up a new stand to sell my fish in sushi-form, but I don't really know how to make it. I just thought, since so many people are Japanese here, it might be something people would buy. So, please inquire here on my journal thing or at the stand.

Oh, and Cirno-chan, I am in need of your services if you are available this afternoon or this evening.

EDIT: To any of my friends who have other friends who have become children today: I am available to babysit. I have...several years of experience as a full time babysitter. No charge of course---just happy to be helpful.

Kuchiki Byakuya - because I'm arrancar - "amalgam of corrupted souls" - kind of jerk to everyone - won't kill me because I'm not worthy to stain his sword with my blood
Hitsugaya Toushirou - because I'm arrancar - probably not a bad guy, but super uptight
Ayasegawa Yumichika - because I knocked him out with my Slick when he tried to kill me - super-vain; violent; possibly crazy

Shinigami who sort of distrust me

Kotsubaki Sentarou - because I'm arrancar - seems nice but not super-smart
Matsumoto Rangiku - probably because I'm arrancar - nice but a bit flighty - might be won over with sake

Ambiguous

Kurotsuchi Nemu - doesn't *dislike* me, but said my existence is meaningless - really weird in general (brainwashed?) - did help kill Szayel-Aporro
Urahara Kisuke - Super ambigious, super-hard to read - some kind of scientist - not in the Gotei 13 anymore (don't know why) - sometimes nice, but did say I shouldn't assume he doesn't want to kill me - maybe just shouldn't bother about anything serious - have to be super careful with him

Shinigami who are nice or at least not hostile

Jyuushirou Ukitake - a little suspicious at first but seems to trust me a little now - leader of the shinigami (?) - nice guy in general
Unohana Retsu - nice to me from the beginning - Hanatarou's captain - super-nice lady, nice to everyone unless they cross her
Shihoin Yoruichi - pretty nice to me - not with the Gotei 13 (says she's an exile) - very spirited; sort of reminds me of Nel-sama
Kira Izuru - pretty nice to me - a little timid, but a nice guy
Hisagi Shuuhei - only talked to a few times, but seems okay with me - good guy
Ise Nanao - polite to me - a bit uptight - a bit upset I referred people to Ukitake after attacks
Kuchiki Rukia - know from Hueco Mundo - polite but distant (has a lot on her mind?) - Ichigo's girlfriend (apparently?) - probably should call her Rukia-san instead of Rukia
Kurosaki Ichigo - called me annoying, but that's the worst of it - protected Nel-sama, owe him a lot for that - "substitute shinigami", not sure what that means
Kusajishi Yachiru - probably not hostile, but maybe still bitter since I beat her in "Are Not, Am Too" - a little girl shinigami; likes candy - calls me "Ant-kun" - not bad, but kind of weird (apparently all of them in the 11th division are like that)
Soifon - only talked to once; not openly hostile - seems pretty tough - has some kind of relation with Yoruichi-san

Shinigami who are my friends

Yamada Hanatarou - super-nice to me - works too much - I went to Mirror City to help him
Abarai Renji - usually nice, but maybe a bit annoyed by me sometimes - know from from Las Noches Caper - thinks of himself as a badass ("thinks of himself"---key phrase) - I kind of saved his life (kind of) - bad luck with curses

Shnigami I've never talked to

Kyouraku Shunsui - seems nice - likes sake
Kenpachi Zaraki - don't know much about, but captain of 11th division - killed Nnoitra - probably should avoid

A lot of things have been going down lately. I've been thinking about the past, and Hueco Mundo and Las Noches, and about the City too. There's this one thought I have...maybe not a happy thought, but a good one, one that makes me not notice the ticking sound even when I'm all alone.

I think the arrancar will be free again one day.

Hmmm...well, I guess that's all. Don't think I'm being all mopey and serious with this, because I'm not. It's a good thought, you know? I just wanted to share.

Cuarenta Uno: Sicknesses

Everyone is getting really sick. It makes me worry a lot. Kuromi-chan is sick, and Ichigo, and a bunch of other people I know. I'm really worried about all of them. I'm not sick at all, and none of the other arrancar seem to be either, so maybe we're immune somehow...I don't really know. I wish there was more that I can do to help besides get coffee for people. If there are arrancar powers for healing...I don't have them. But, if any of my friends collapse from sickness, I can rush in and sonido you to a doctor I guess. That's about all though.

Oh, and Zoro-san...I don't think we should head out this week, or at least until all this rolls over. Also, I'm closing down the stand until further notice.

EDIT: I just remembered that Nel actually did have weak healing powers. Her drool and puke could heal wounds. I remember, whenever me or Dondochakka got even a little cut she'd chase us until we were covered in drool and puke. Ah, those were good times...

Cuarenta: Job Opening: Fishmonger

I am in need of another employee besides myself and Zoro-san. The gutting and boning of the fish is becoming much too time consuming, so I am looking to hire one or two people to do that, so I can spend more time actually catching the fish. Pay is very good, since I know for humans it is maybe a little gross. All you need to be able to do is use a boning knife, and if you can't I can show you pretty easily, and be willing to get pretty messy and smelly---though a shower or a swim in the ocean will usually solve that. Please inquire at the stand on the beach, or here on my journal thing. Thanks!

It seems that, even though it's tomorrow, this curse hasn't gone away yet---it actually seems to have gotten worse, as my sword has turned into a stick. Why, City? Why you always gotta change my Ultima into different things, eh?

Anyway, the stick doesn't seem to do anything but shoot out super-weak cero. It's more like sparks than cero, but it is red. So, does anyone know how this stick thingy works? Because i use my sword for a lot of things, and if this stick's gonna take it's place for a while, the stick's gotta start pulling it's weight.

If this is a curse, it is one of the most bizarre yet. I was sitting on my bed, practicing my new saxophone when a brown hat thing crawled into my apartment and jumped on my face! It was on there for almost a whole minute, then it went "Ravenclaw!" and scurried out before I could catch it. I think it left this card thing too:

Maybe this is, like, it's calling card or something, I really don't know. Anyway, if you see this hat thing, be on the lookout, because it nearly suffocated me.

[ooc: My rationale? Pesche is naturally very curious. He discovered a new cero. Like Nel, he appreciates reason because, as a hollow, he was without it. And most of all, in my opinion he's airy, and Ravenclaw is associated with the air element]

Of all the things I am proud of, even more than Cero Sincrético, the special kind of super-powered cero that only me and Dondochakka can do, I am proud of my Infinite Slick. This is my ability to secrete a liquid that makes everything it touches super slippery. What's that you say? It's a useless ability, but YOU ARE WRONG! Let me tell you a story about my Infinite Slick...in dramatic form:

Scene: Las Noches: a Room with a bunch of pillars

I have just run nobly onto the scene to aid Uryuu, whose battle with Cirucci Thunderwitch is looking bleak.

Cirucci: I am going to hit you with my yo-yo thing and then you will die, silly white ant!

Pesche: Your yo-yo is no match for special ability, fiend!

I spray the yo-yo. Yo-yo bounces off me harmlessly.

Pesche: Hahaha! I have foiled you! Now I will go on the offensive!

I spray one of her pillars; she jumps off.

Cirucci: You are so stupid! You think I'll just stand there and get hit! You are so stupid!

I spray all of her pillars; she lands on one and falls to the ground with a thud.

Pesche: Ha! That's what you get for underestimating me!

And now, another story, with a similar theme:

Scene: Las Noches: the Lab of the Octava Espada, Szayel-Aporro Grantz; the roof is collapsed

Szayel-Aporro has ensnared both Renji and Uryuu with his voodoo doll-making powers.

Renji: Alas! I too have been ensnared by his voodoo doll-making powers.

Szayel-Aporro: Stop struggling, pitiful shinigami! Your efforts are entirely futile against me, the Octava Espada, Szayel-Aporro, and my pretty pink hair!

Uryuu: If only some gallant hero would rush in to save us!

Pesche: I will save you!

I spray Szayel-Aporro's hand; he drops both voodoo dolls. I slide in under him and grab them before they hit the ground.

Renji: Huzzah! We are saved!

So, yeah, what we're you saying about something being useless? Yeah, that's what I thought you said. Haters.

I have found something even better to do with my money than donate it or buy candy (which was my other plan). For some reason, I was inspired to buy this:

It cost four indigos, but it was worth it! I'm also going to start taking lessons in the evening when I stand is closed. And hey, maybe when I learn how to play a little better, I can start a jazz band to play really loud and publicly as often as possible! Wouldn't that be great? Anyone interested who can play?

Ever since I started selling lobsters down at the stand, I have more money than I know what to do with. I paid my rent to Urahara-san, got my boat repaired, bought a bed and blankets for the apartment, bought human foood (which is quite tasty) and a cold-making box to keep most of it in, and even after all that I still have lots of money left over. So I am wondering: what do humans usually do with money when they already have enough for the things they need?

Also, to the human who hacked Ichigo's account and spoke disrespectfully about Nel-sama: if I ever find out who you are, you're never going to walk over a surface you won't slip on for the rest of your life. So, be forewarned.

I'll be assuming they're there from the beginning (though I won't have Pesche mention anyone specifically until they post), so they can jump in at any point. Add-ons can join in mid tag as they see fit, but there will be a cut off at some point. The rules for Eternal Tag (it's different than normal tag) are here.

I'll mention the pun-pun effect for Pesche one last time before tag begins: Pesche's wish is to be black and shiny like a stag beetle, because, you know, they're so cool. The twist to Pesche's wish is that everything he touches and everything that touches him will have the black coloring rub off on them like ink, creating quite a mess. Also, for tag players, the stain is "infectious" if you will---if you get it on you by tagging him, it will spread to anything else Additionally, the pun-pun magic can affect any character so that playing tag becomes irresistible, as this will spread the chaos even more. Pesche will start of the game at 6:00]

Treinta y Dos: Update for Eternal Tag

The ship hit a patch of rough water, so I won't be in until Friday afternoon. So I am declaring the official starting time of Eternal Tag to be 6:00 P.M. Everyone who is playing should meet at the fountain. I going to be the first It since I was the one who called the game. Also, if anyone sees the incredible fun we're all having, you can join in and start chasing the It, whoever that might be, until 6:15...any later and you would have a serious advantage over the rest of us for stamina.

I hope to see many of you there! Unfortunately, I don't think Ichigo is coming, as he seems to be afraid of losing to me or one of the other contestants. That's okay, though---accepting your limitations is a good trait to have, in my opinion.

Treinta Y Uno: The Rules of Eternal Tag

Okay, for those of you planning to play tomorrow, here are the rules of Eternal Tag, which is a little different from regular human tag:

Unlike in normal tag, if you are the It everyone chases you

If you tag the It, you become the new It

If you stop chasing or being chased (like because you fall over from exhaustion or any other reason), you're out. Walking counts as stopping!

If you use any kind of special powers, or any speed boost from a machine or something, you're out

You can run as fast as you can, but remember that its the last man standing who wins

Also, I'm offering a free lobster or any kind of fish from the stand to the winner...unless, of course, I win myself---which could totally happen, as I've been playing Eternal Tag for years.

In other news, I've got a new shipmate on La Verdita, Zoro-san. He's apparently some kind of pirate in his own world. He's pretty cool I think, and I'm an excellent judge of cool. We should be back tomorrow morning, and then Eternal Tag begins!

I hereby challenge the people of this city, young and old, to a game of eternal tag. I'll be heading out to sea this afternoon and won't be back until Friday, but as soon as I set foot back on dry land, the game is on.

Oh, and one of the rules of eternal tag is no using powers like sonido or anything like that---makes it so not enough people can play, and eternal tag gets funner and funner the more people play. And it's called "eternal tag", but it's not literally "eternal", just until everyone involved collapses from exhaustion.

And just so you know, on Friday, Pesche will be effected by Kuromi's pun-pun, making him black and shiny like a stag beetle, as per his wish---only his new color will rub off on anything he touches like ink. So, it should be fun times for everyone, and some people should have more reason to want to chase him down than usual]

Veintinueve: Arrancar and You: A handy guide for not getting killed (hopefully)

I was meaning to put this up yesterday, but I was, er, incapacitated, and I guess I wasn't the only one. Anyway, given the recent attacks that were apparently done by the other arrancar in this world, I just wanted to put out a few tips for all you non-shinigami humans out there in case you happen to be attacked by one, seeing as I'm the only arrancar in this world who isn't in cahoots with the others.

So, lets say you are walking along and suddenly some one you don't know accosts you ("accost" is a fun word...I just found it in a book). Might it be an arrancar? Ask yourself these questions:

Do they have a mask fragment somewhere on their head or upper body? Mask fragments are always white and look kind of like bone, which is a good way of identifying them. And it doesn't have to be a "mask" mask---there is at least one arrancar I know of whose mask fragment looks like a pair of glasses. So, look carefully.
Do they have a hole somewhere in there body that goes all the way through ? The hole can be covered up of course, but if it is visible it is usually on the chest or torso, though there are exceptions.
Are they carrying a sword or some other kind of bladed weapon? You should be careful of this one, because I know there are a lot of people in this world with swords, but this is a tip-off that a person at least might be an arrancar. But you should try to check for one of the other signs if this is the only one.
Are they dressed almost entirely in white? Particularly, in some kind of an all-white hakama, though most if not all arrancar will alter the uniform somehow.

If you can answer yes to one or more of these questions, particularly the first two, you might be seeing an arrancar. So, if you are faced with an arrancar what should you do? There is really only one fail-safe answer:

GET AWAY, FIND A SAFE PLACE, AND CONTACT A SHINIGAMI.

Even if you are a particularly strong human, this is the best policy for you. Unless you are one of the most powerful people in your own world (which is what the arrancar are in our world), you should not consider fighting them, and even if you are that powerful, you should probably get help from a shinigami. Their powers exist specifically to fight beings like the arrancar, so they will probably have the best chance of stopping them.

If you have powers of your own, it is still not a good idea to try to attack them. If you have some kind of defensive power, then by all means use it to protect yourself and any bystanders, but it is still not a good idea to attack them unless there's nothing else you can do.

If you have powers that could be called "spiritual", you might consider speaking to the Police about helping out against the arrancar, as your powers may be, like the shinigamis, a bit more effective against them. The shigami are the only ones who can certainly fight them, but since there are only so many of shinigami in this world, and since the arrancar are apparently attacking random people, it's very important to shore up the numbers of people who can face them on some level.

Oh, and I guess it's probably worth mentioning myself, since I am an arrancar. I look a lot different from most of them, or at least I seem too---I'm at least half purple instead of being all white, and I don't wear a hakama anymore. Also, I have a full mask that looks like a stag-beetle's head (though...some people think it makes me look like an ant...but what do they know). I do have a sword, but I keep it hidden, because I don't have to go waving my sword around at everyone so they'll think it's cool...I already know it's cool.

And on one last note, if you want to who the local shinigami are in case you need one, his guy should probably be able to help you. He is super nice, even to me, and I'm sure he'll be glad to help you if you ask.

Just a brief note that I've returned. Oh, and the lobster traps were a success, so now the stand has lobster as well. And while I'm at shore, I figure I'll try getting some of those clams I've been seeing.

Now that the incident of the talking animal swords is over, I've decided to head back to Deep Blue to restock the stand. So, I should be out for a day or two. Oh, and I managed to get some lobster traps from the Lighthouse man, so when I get back the stand should have lobsters. Also, Pesche was wondering if anyone would buy clams? I see a lot of them in the shallows off the beach, so maybe I could gather up a few if anyone would buy them.

Um...I know you said that there was nothing going on...but, well, just be careful, and stick around your shinigami friends as much as possible, in case trouble does come. I'm closing down the shop for the rest of the day, so if any one needs fish, they'll have to wait until tomorrow. And as a note to any overzealous shinigamis out there:

PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PURIFY ULTIMA

Pesche knows his Ultima has been a very wicked little firefly, but I am going to keep super close tabs on him and keep him away from people. So pretty please, just leave him alone and I'm sure he'll turn back into a sword when this curse is over.

[ooc: Ultima got really close to eating an npc while Pesche was fetching their fish from the cooler. So he's got it in a fish-net now, and is heading back to his apartment. And in case you didn't see his original post, Ultima is a firefly hollow about the size of a human head---it looks cute, but uses that to trick humans into getting close enough to eat them. So yeah, he's been a very bad bug.]
